Thiago Silva who has been missing in action ever since the injury he suffered against Tottenham Hotspur still remains doubtful. Tuchel has said that Thiago Silva received a knock during training and will miss out.

Another player who is missing in action is English international Tammy Abraham. Abraham who faced an injury against Burnley still remains out. Thomas Tuchel did express his concerns over the prolonged recovery period.

Chelsea will be looking to extend their rich vein of form as they are still to lose a game under Thomas Tuchel and look strong as ever. After the Leeds United fixture they will be up against Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League.

Thiago had a little setback in training at the end of the training session the day before yesterday. He felt at the very end something around the same area where he was injured so we had to take him off, so he is back into a transition phase but not back into team training.

‘Tammy Abraham has still the ankle pain from the tackle against Burnley,’ the head coach continued.

‘Yesterday he came off [in training], the day before he was fine, so these two are out for tomorrow and everybody else is available.’
