Tom Aspinall makes an exceptional debut; Knocks out Jake Collier in just 45 seconds


Another promising debut took place at UFC as promising heavyweight prospect Tom Aspinall wins his debut fight. Tom Aspinall defeated Jake Collier via TKO in just 45 seconds of the first round on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE). With this victory, Tom became the fourth-fastest debut maker in the UFC heavyweight history.

UFC is successful till now in organising its events on Yas Island. The main card fight was Whittaker vs Till.

The match seemed a way lot easier for Aspinall. He took only a few moments to line Collier up and then immediately started to use his powerful boxing and long range. He smashed a powerful knee into Collier’s stomach and then landed him a beautiful one-two combination to put him on the mat.

Tom Aspinall was already launching some more insurance shots as referee stepped in and called the fight off. Aspinall was then declared the victorious and thus making a strong and powerful debut in the UFC heavyweight division.

With this amazing performance, Aspinall made an exceptional debut in the UFC and proved that how he is one of the most touted heavyweight prospects in the UFC today. However, the Englishman will have to face a bigger and better competition with time but this is an exceptional start and will definitely send an alarm signal to his competitors.
