Phelps debuted at the Sydney Olympics at the age of 15 and became the youngest American male swimmer to do so. when He has 28 medals, out of which 23 are gold, 3 are silver and 2 are bronze in four Olympic Games. He retired after Rio Olympic games at the age of 31.

He is the long course world record holder in men’s 400-meter individual medley. And won 82 gold medals in a major International long-course competition. He is also considered the greatest Swimmer of all time.

Michael Phelps also holds the record for most medals at any single Olympic games when he won 8 gold medals in Beijing Olympics (He broke seven world records in Beijing Olympics out of eight).

She is the only female athlete who at the same point has held the title of most Olympic gold medals. That was a record for 48 years until Michael Phelps broke it in the 2012 London Olympics.

Bjoerndalen won a gold medal in 1998, swept all four events in Salt Lake City in 2002, and added one gold in 2010 and two in 2014. He is one of the most decorated athletes in the Winter Olympic games’ history.
