The most awaited Free Fire OB30 update is released by Garena earlier this morning. This update will bring many new changes to the titles in terms of gameplay and user experience. Here in this article, we will take a look at the top 5 features in Free Fire OB30 update that were missing in OB29.
Garena also released the patch notes of the OB30 patch update before the release of the update itself. The developers have max up this update by adding almost everything making it the biggest OB patch update ever.
Free Fire OB30 update is called the ‘Booyah Day‘ update whereas the OB29 update was named as ‘4nniversary‘ marking the 4th anniversary of the title. Let us take a look at what makes the OB30 patch update different from the OB29.
5 Features In Free Fire OB30 Update That Were Missing In OB29
5. 6v6 Clash Squad Mode
The Clash Squad mode is one of the most popular mode Free Fire offers it has its ranked season as well which resets with every major OB patch update. Generally, the mode is a 4v4 clash in a small area but in this patch update now players can max it up to make it a 6v6 match.
Although this is only available in a custom room match but is a great improvement as well. The OB29 update has introduced us to only the request option in the clash squad mode.
Other than this there are also some minor improvements as well like the showing of heroic stars on the in-game scoreboard and spawn points adjustments on the Bermuda map at Clock Tower and Mars Electric locations.
4. Battle Royale Optimization
The OB30 update has brought us many optimizations in the battle royale mode when compared to the previous OB29 update. The new update has brought the airdrop vending machine which will help players to find it more often on more locations to spend the FF tokens.
Garena has also introduced the HUD and UI display optimizations for the Revival points on the map. As players will now be able to see the revival points being captured on the map. Optimized HUD display when spectating players who are capturing revival points.
Other than this the title has also improved the safe zone damage by 10%. Whereas, OB29 update didn’t bring as such optimizations to the BR mode.
3. New Healing Weapon
In this patch update, players will have a new and more powerful healing weapon to heal their allies from a distance. It’s a Treatment Sniper. This weapon will only be available in the battle royale mode the stats of the weapons are as follows:
- Base Damage: 70
- Heal Strength: 50
- Rate of Fire: 0.45
On the other hand, the OB29 update didn’t bring any updates or a new healing weapon.
2. New Replay System
The all-new Replay system will also be introduced with the OB30 update. Giving players a chance to take a look at their highlight moments from the match.
Although it is not available for everyone only selected devices can use this feature as it is still in its beta testing phase. This feature was not available in the OB29 update.
1. Training Grounds Update
This update will bring many new features one of them being the training grounds update as the current layout of the combat zone is a bit too complicated for the combat training.
So the combat zone clean up has taken place giving us a more clean combat zone. This feature was also missing in the previous OB29 update. This is the list of the top 5 features in Free Fire OB30 update that were missing in the OB29 update.
