WWE had some exciting segments for the fans over the past week. The Viking Raiders returned and Charlotte Flair snapped on a referee on the Raw episode. Surprisingly, Braun Strowman came to the aid of Drew McIntyre when he was attacked by T-Bar and Mace.
Kyle O’Reilly also returned to NXT and revealed his plans of challenging the Champion, Karrion Kross. The Cruiserweight Champion Kushida seemingly will put his title on the title again, after defeating Oney Lorcan.
Smackdown was dominated by Daniel Bryan and Cesaro. It seemed liked Cesaro was going to get a shot at the WWE title, but Reigns surprised everyone by challenging Bryan, once again. On the other hand, Kevin Owens might’ve been added to the Intercontinental Championship picture.
Here is our list of Top 5 wwe segments that might take place in the coming WWE shows:
#5 New Raw Tag Team Champions appear
The unlikely tag team of AJ Styles and Omos became the Champions at Wrestlemania 37 when they defeated The New Day. It has been over two weeks since they won their titles, but they are yet to appear on Raw.
We can expect Styles and Omos to appear on the upcoming episode of Raw to celebrate their Wrestlemania victory. The Raw tag team division is currently struggling and giving the titles to Styles and Omos just might be the boost that the division needed.
#4 Keith Lee appears as Mace and T-Bar’s new leader
Keith Lee had become a dominant force on the main roster, before he disappeared from WWE TV, around Elimination Chamber. He is likely to return soon and WWE can surprise the fans by revealing him as the leader of Mace and T-Bar.
After the RETRIBUTION split, T-Bar and Mace have been targeting Drew McIntyre. Fans think that it might be a part of MVP’s plan. But revealing that Lee is the actual leader could be the push that Lee needs for his return.
#3 Adam Cole promises to end Kyle O’Reilly
Just last week on WWE NXT, KOR made it clear that he is going after the NXT Championship. His recent performances make it evident that KOR is ready for a Championship run. But he also needs to worry about Adam Cole.
Cole and KOR were involved in a brutal match in the main event of the NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver. Cole is scheduled to appear in an interview on the upcoming NXT episode where he will be discussing his future. He might announce that he is still after KOR.
#2 Aleister Black continues his story
Aleister Black made his much awaited return at Smackdown through a vignette. H e narrated a stpry from a book entitled “The Dark Father.” Instead of exposing him to the ring immediately, WWE might tease his appearance with more vignettes.
Black should continue his story-telling segments and warn his doubters. This would enable a much better character development and build the excitement before he finally returns.
#1 Edge returns
Daniel Bryan will be facing Roman Reigns in a Universal Championship match on this week’s WWE Smackdown episode. But, if Bryan loses, he will have to leave Smackdown. Bryan has to put in everything that he has to get a win.
But we could see Edge return and attack Bryan, costing him the match. This would lead to an end via disqualification and it will lead to a new rivalry between Daniel Bryan and Edge.
