Chelsea returned to the top of the points table with a 3-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday. Here are our Tottenham Hotspur vs Chelsea player ratings.

Both teams had particular goal in their mind before they started the game. However, it was Tottenham Hotspur who dominated the first half. Kane, Son and Alli had their fair chances to score the goal but were unable to do so. Hugo Lloris’ saves helped Tottenham Hotspur to keep the scoreline at 0-0.

In the second half, Chelsea played with more intent and before the clock struck the hour mark, Thiago Silva and N’Golo Kante added to Chelsea’ tally. As the game progressed, Chelsea grew to the game. Romelu Lukaku had an absolute chance in the final minutes of the game to score the third one for the team. In the dying embers of the game, Antonio Rudiger scored the third for Chelsea to shatter any hopes of Spurs.

Hugo Lloris (6.3/10): The French shot-stopper did not had any major moments in the first half of the game. He had kept things simple in the first half. However, he was left bereft in the second half.

Sergio Reguilon (6.5/10): The left back had a good outing in the first half against Chelsea and often joined the attack. 

Eric Dier (6.6/10): After going out early in the previous game, Eric Dier was vocal and marshalled his defense in the second half of the game.  However, he could not stop Chelsea scoring three in the second half.

Christian Romero (6.5/10): The new signing finally made his home debut. He was good with his tackles and interceptions. 

Emerson Royal (6.5/10): The signing from Barcelona was able to win the tackles and join the attack when needed.

Tanguy Ndombele(6.5/10): Tanguy Ndombele made his first start at home in the 2021/22 season. He had a great game with his run into the opposition half. 

Pierre Emile Hojbjerg (6.5/10): The warrior of THFC was able to break up Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea. He had won three tackles and three aerial duels. 

Dele Alli (6.3/10): Dele Alli made crucial runs but was unable to find the final passes that can lead to the goal

Giovanni Lo Celso (6/10): Lo Celso had a nightmarish first half. He was running up and down but none of his passes were productive.

Harry Kane (6.7/10): The English skipper was found everywhere in the game. He was in midfield, he was in attack and he was in defense. 

Son Heung Min (6.2/10): Son Heung Min returned from the injury and missed the chances in the first half. He had chances to put the ball behind the line but missed the chances.

Kepa Arrizabalaga (7/10): Kepa Arrizabalaga replaced Mendy in the game against Spurs. Though he was fumbling a bit in the first half, he was able to look after the goal box.

Thiago Silva (8/10): Broke the deadlock in the second half of the game after Dele Alii failed to contest the ball. Thiago Silva used all his experience to keep Spurs at bay.

Antonio Rudiger (8/10): The French international was commanding centre back in the three at the back defense. He scored the third for the team which helped them to move up of the points table.

Andreas Christensen (6.8/10): Christensen had a great game against Spurs’ attackers. He bossed the aerial duels and occasionally put the shifts in the ground as well. 

Cesar Azpilicueta (6.4/10): The veteran right back was able to put great crosses and shift in the midfield to withhold the attackers. 

Jorginho (6.8/10): Though the Italian midfielder misplaced a few passes in the first half, with the arrival of Kante, he was able to stitch better passes together.

Mateo Kovacic (7.2/10): The Spanish midfielder was able to hold up the THFC players and even assisted Kante for the second goal. 

Marcos Alonso (7.6/10): More than a left wing-back, Alonso was a left winger for Chelsea. He assisted Thaigo Silva to break the deadlock with an accurate cross. 

Kai Havertz (6/10): Kai Havertz couldn’t create any chances or score the goal. However, he contributed in dealing the corners. He was substituted for Timo Werner. 

Mason Mount (6/10): The English international had a poor game at North London stadium. He was unable to create chances as well as find the back of the net.

Romelu Lukaku (6.8/10): THe striker failed to score any goal in the game. However, his aerial duels and dribbles past the Tottenham defenders were incomparable.

N’Golo Kante (8/10): Kante was an impact substitution for Chelsea. He scored the goal to double the lead for the Blues.

Timo Werner (7/10): Assisted for the Antonio Rudiger’s goal in the final minutes of the game.
