Twitter Reacts As Tom Brady Became The First Player With 600 NFL Touchdown Passes

Tom Brady transcended himself beyond every other quarterback in the league of elites as the age-defying paragon racked up a feat, that isn’t just herculean in nature but seems to be beyond anyone. He became the first quarterback to carve 600 touchdown passes in his NFL career as the Buccaneers razed down a rolled-up Bears with no resistance whatsoever.

The Bucs were simply relentless and ravaged the Bears at will as they also avenged their erstwhile drubbing at the hands of the similar foe from a year ago. Brady spearheaded the charge as he surged for a staggering 211 yards and bagged four touchdowns in his 20-for-36 passing record. The Tampa Bay defense was extraordinary as they confined the Bears to a Cairo Santos field goal and sacking greenhorn, Justin Fields a staggering four times compelling two fumbles.

The moment that carved the historic moment for Tom Brady

As Antonio Brown and Rob Gronkowski were sidelined by injuries, Mike Evans shone brightly in the receiving section of the Bucs. Chris Godwin racked a first-quarter pick that led to the 599th touchdown pass for Brady. Mike Evans came up with six crucial catches, out of which was a 9-yarder from Brady that scripted history for the 44-year-old quarterback.

Brady aces the list of touchdown passes with figures of 600 abreast his name while the man in closest pursuit of this incredible feat has already retired from the game, Drew Brees is the next in the line with 571 while Peyton Manning is third in the list with 539. Another active player who made the list is the Green Bay Packers star quarterback, Aaron Rodgers who was once again phenomenal with three touchdown passes against the Washington Football team.

In fact, unaware of the symbolic importance and the historical legacy that the ball possesses, Brady gave it away to a fan who was sitting in a front-row zone. Of course, why would one give a ball back to Brady if he has received it from the greatest himself. However, Tom did manage to take it back after vehement reluctance only on the proviso of another game ball and a signed jersey from Tom Brady himself. Twitter couldn’t contain their excitement and happiness after one of the greatest feats in the NFL was once again kissed by the Tampa Bay quarterback and he continues toppling records at a ripe age of 44 like a castle of glass. Another moment that highlighted Brady’s humility was when he gave away the match-ball to a kid whose poster read, “Tom Brady helped me beat cancer.”
