Wolfsburg lit up the Volkswagen Arena as they bagged a thrilling win against RB Salzburg. Ridle Baku’s opening goal in the third minute gave Wolfsburg the perfect start to the match. However, a equaliser by Maximilian Wöber sealed the deal for RB Salzburg for the first-half to read 1-1.
In the 60th minute, Lukas Nmecha scored a magnificent goal and put RB Salzburg in front to give them a brilliant lead in the match. In the end, they walked away with a crucial 2-1 win and got themselves those three deserved points.

Lukas Nmecha (7/10) : In the 60th minute, Lukas scored the winning goal of the match courtesy of a brilliant assist by Maximilian Arnold. Lukas already had missed out on a big goal scoring opportunity but didn’t fail to capitalise on second chance.
Wout Weghorst (6.4/10) : Weghorst too had a disappointing game as he barely made an impactful performance. He was good with Aerial duels but failed miserably at ground duels and had a passing accuracy of mere 57%.
Yannick Gerhardt (7.4/10) : Yannick was brilliant with his gameplay and helped provide with a beautiful assist to Ridle to get them their opening goal in fhe 3rd minute of the game.

Philipp Köhn (GK) (6.2/10) : The RB Salzburg goalkeeper did all his best to stop the goals from coming in but he did end up conceding two goals and had a rough day with the gloves.
Rasmus Kristensen (7.4/10) : Rasmus did a brilliant job at winning tackles as he won one too many of them while also doing an excellent job at winning ground duels and keeping the ball away from defence. He also had an on target attempt at goal but denied by the keeper.
Jérôme Onguéné (6.7/10) : Jérôme was really good with interceptions but he lost possession on one too many occasions.
Maximilian Wöber (7.8/10) : Maximilian Wöber scored a brilliant equaliser for RB Salzburg in the 30th minute and made sure to keep his team in front. He was really good at tackles and his ground duels track record speaks for itself.
Andreas Ulmer (5.6/10) : Out of his nine ground duel attempts, he barely won one duel and he lost possession on as many as 27 occasions. He had a terrible match as his passing accuracy was mere 61%.
