Bayer Leverkusen vs Celtic : German club Bayer Leverkusen defeated Scottish team Celtic FC by three goals to two (3-2) in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday night.
Robert Andrich scored twice for Bayer Leverkusen and Moussa Diaby got the winner for the hosts. On the other hand Juranovic and Jota scored for Celtic.

Lukas Hradecky (5/10)- The Leverkusen didn’t have the best of games although his team was on the winning side. He conceded the penalty for the first goal.
Jonathan Tah (7/10)- The number four for Bayer Leverkusen was a dominant presence for the German club. He was involved in the corner kicks and mistimed one clear cut opportunity to score.
Odilon Kossounou (6.5/10)- The defender had a decent game tonight. However he still needs to sharpen his passing a bit more especially when under pressure.
Piero Hincapié (6.5/10)- The left back was very good in the defensive aspect. He completely neutralised any Celtic attack from the right hand side.
Jeremie Frimpong (7/10) – The right back for Bayer Leverkusen was getting ahead into dangerous positions early on. He set up a great opportunity for Andrich whose resulting shot was blocked out.
Exequiel Palacios (6/10)- Exequiel Palacios was never in the groove tonight. Hence was making some unnecessary challenges and even got booked for that.
Robert Andrich (8.5/10)- Robert Andrich was in absolute stunning form tonight and was getting into some great positions. He scored his first goal from close range into the bottom corner. Additionally he scored again this time with his left foot
Paulinho (7/10)- The Brazilian was operating on the left hand flank for Bayer Leverkusen. He Combined well with Florian Wirtz and got some inviting deliveries across the face of goal.
Moussa Diaby (7.5/10)- The match winner for Bayer Leverkusen, Diaby always looked like scoring. In the end he managed to find the net late but at least not never. A good shot into the right corner.
Florian Wirtz (7.5/10)- The forward had a great match and was actively involved in the attacking play. Moreover he got the assist for the first goal for Robert Andrich.
Amine Adli (6.5/10)- Amine Adli we continuously making some useful runs behind the Celtic defence. However he needed to time them a bit better and was caught out offside on several occasions.

Joe Hart (6/10)- The former Manchester City goalkeeper will be disappointed with the three goals he conceded tonight. He produced a great save after the shot from Amine Adli.
Stephen Welsh (5.5/10)- Welsh was unable to support Cameron Carter Vickers tonight. His positioning in many cases was out of tune and hence created problems.
Cameron Carter-Vickers (6.5/10)- The big centre back was trying to support the defence all by himself on multiple occasions. He made some important blocks to keep the team in the game.
Nir Bitton (6.5/10)- Bitton played as the sole defensive midfielder tonight and put in some crucial tackles. He even tried some through balls but wasn’t that effective in that scenario.
Josip Juranovic (8/10)- Juranovic scored the equaliser from a great spot kick right into the top of the goal to give the goalkeeper absolutely no chance.
Anthony Ralston (5.5/10)- Anthony Ralston the right back was put under a lot of pressure by Florian Wirtz. He was unable to stop the attack from the left hand side by Bayer Leverkusen.
Callum McGregor (7/10)- McGregor put in a great shift tonight for Celtic. He was continuously running up and down the wing on the left hand flank for the visitors and won important free kicks.
David Turnbull (6.5/10)- David Turnbull was operating up front of the field tonight. He was putting in some precise through balls but the rest couldn’t capitalise on them.
Jota (7.5/10)- Jota played in the left wing for the visitors and scored the important goal in the second half. He scored following a fast counterattack and the assist from Furuhashi.
James Forrest (6.5/10)- The midfielder was almost through on goal after a through ball from the defensive line. But he was just marginally offside and was called back.
Kyogo Furuhashi (7.5/10)- Furuhashi was in great flow in the first half. He drew in the foul from the Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper and hence Celtic got the penalty for the equaliser. Moreover he got the assist for the second goal.
