Real Betis and Bayer Leverkusen displayed some amazing football but it ended in 1-1 draw. Both the teams were defensively sharp but goal scoring chances were very less from both ends. But in 2nd half, at 75th minute Leverkusen defender Frimpong made a mistake which helped Betis get ahead by scoring on penalty courtesy of Iglesias. But Andrich scored an outstanding goal in 82nd minute to level the score.

Claudio Bravo (7/10): Bravo had a busy day throughout the game. He made 4 important saves and one excellent clearance to deny Leverkusen attacker to score.

Juan Miranda(7/10): Miranda was very sharp at left back position. He made two interceptions to stop Bellarbi and in form Adli from scoring goals.

Edgar Gonzalez (7/10): Central Defender Gonzalez was verymuch upto the mark in the throughout the game as he made 7 clearances and had 98% passing accuracy.

German Pezzella (7/10): In the entire game for Betis, he looked impressive with the ball. He made 85% pass completion rate and also blocked the chances created by Diaby and Andrich.

Martin Montoya (7/10): Acuna was finding it difficult to settle himself on the pitch. But as the game progressed he made some lovely passes to Fekir and Rodriguez to sneak through Leverkusen defense. He also made 5 important interceptions.

William Carvalho (7/10): In the entire game, Carvalho was outstanding in both defensive and offensive front. He had 87% passing accuracy and some key build ups with Ruibal and Fekir at attacking front.

Joaquin (7/10): He had an excellent game with some very good passes to Fekir and Iglesias for goal scoring and also helped the team during defensive build up.

Borja Iglesias (8/10): Iglesias was very sharp with his touches and he had 4 shots on goal. He helped Betis get the lead by scoring an amazing penalty in the 2nd half.

Alex Moreno (6/10): After coming in as a substitute Moreno tried to create attacking opportunities but lack of effective passing couldn’t lead to effective build up.

Diego Lainez (7/10): Lainez was tactically brought in for creating more chances for Betis in the game to attack. He had some great touches and passes to Fekir and Ruibal for getting more scoring chances.

Sergio Canales (7/10): Canales replaced Fekir to bring more pace in the midfield and to break Leverkusen defense. His pass completion was 90% in his short span of play.

Juanmi (6/10): Juanmi in his 20 minutes of play in 2nd half was not able to create chances for Iglesias and Canales.

Lukas Hradecky (GK) (7/10): The Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper made excellent saves during the game but failed to deny Iglesias penalty.

Piero Hincapie (6/10): Hincapie had a very bad day on the field for Bayer Leverkusen. He made two unnecessary fouls and also had only 58% passing accuracy.

Edmond Tapsoba (7/10): Tapsoba was outstanding at defense for Bayer Leverkusen, he made some amazing tackles and interceptions against Fekir and Iglesias. He had 89% passing accuracy.

Jonathan Tah (7/10): He was the best defender for Bayer Leverkusen. Tah made 2 amazing interceptions and 6 important clearances.

Jeremie Frimpong (5/10): Frimpong was finding it difficult to stop Oglesias, Fekir and Joaquin. He also conceded the penalty to Real Betis resulting in a goal.

Kerem Demirbay (7/10): In the entire game, Demirbay was impressive with his touches and 85% passing accuracy. He also managed to compensate for Frimpong miss passes in the defense for Leverkusen.

Lucas Alario (6/10): At centre forward position, Alario was amazing with 3 shots on goal with 2 on target. He also made some excellent runs through Betis defense to get more scoring opportunities.

Substitutes

Florian Wirtz (7/10): In the 2nd half, he had a shot on goal and made some great passes to Alario and Bellarabi. This helped Bayer Leverkusen get more scoring chances .

Patrick Schick (6/10): Schick played for 22 minutes but he was unable to get in positions. He also had only 67% passing accuracy leading more possession for Betis

Paulinho (6/10): Seoane brought in Paulinho to attack the tiring Betis. But Paulinho and Schick couldn’t create much chances at 2nd half.
