The former Lightweight champion of Bellator MMA, Michael Chandler is finally making his debut in UFC against the number 6th ranked Lightweight fighter Dan Hooker. Both of them are fighting in the co-main event of UFC 257.

Michael Chandler is a multiple-time Bellator champion and he was eagerly waiting for his UFC debut. He holds a professional record of 21-5 in professional MMA.

He won five of his last six fights. Chandler’s only loss came against Patricio Freire in the fight at which he lost the Bellator Lightweight Championship. Freire knocked him out in the very first round and after this fight, he is on a two-fight win streak.

Dan Hooker is also coming in this fight with a loss against Dustin Poirier. But this fight was nominated for the UFC Fight of the Year 2020. Hooker gave one of the best performances of his carrier against Poirier and gave him a hell of a beating.

Before this fight he registered wins over Lightweight fighters such as Paul Felder, Al Iaquinta and he will definitely look to spoil the debut of Michal Chandler.
