UFC 259: Islam Makhachev defeated Drew Dober via arm triangle choke

The lightweight contest between Islam Makhachev and Drew Dober went down at UFC 259, and Islam Makhachev secured the victory in the third round via submission.

Round 1: Fight started with both trying to measure each other out and then Islam secured an easy takedown and took the fight to the canvas, despite Drew’s effort he couldn’t get back up. Islam put excellent pressure along with ground impound, he tried arm lock at the end of the round but couldn’t complete it.

Round 2: Second round startes with Dober landing some shots but Islam once again execute and excellent inside trip to take the fight to the canvas, and controlled him there for the rest of the round and landed some good shots from the top

Islam Makhachev overpowered his opponent to secure to victory

Round 3: The gameplan was clear but still Dober couldnt resist the takedown fron Islam, he was completely exhausted from all the pressure and then Islam secured an arm triangle choke to secure the victory.
