UFC 261 (co-main event): Rose Namajunas stuns Zhang Weili via. first-round knockout

The co-main featured Number 1 ranked women’s strawweight and former champion Rose Namajunas go up against the champion Zhang Weili. Namajunas was coming off a revenge victory over Jessica Andrade at UFC 251, after losing to her at UFC 237. Weili was coming off that war against Joanna Jędrzejczyk at UFC 248.

Round 1 :

A low kick from Weili to begin the fight. A short jab from Rose kept Weili in check. Weili threw an inside leg kick. A huge leg kick to the head from Namajunas rocked Weili as she sunk to the floor. What a win for Thug Rose!!
