This fight ended as a draw at the end of five rounds as a one-point deduction for the champion due to low blow cost him this decision. It was the first-ever draw of Figueiredo’s career and they both will settle the score in a rematch at UFC 263.

Moreno was also waiting for this match for a long time as he is ready to dethrone the champion and wrap the Flyweight title around his waist. In his latest interview with TMZ Sports, Brandon Moreno used some really harsh words for the champion.

‘The Assassin Baby’ says, “Man, I told you, the guy’s not really smart. He’s an a*shole and it’s fine, I don’t care. He’s ugly. Man, the guy’s so ugly. My goodness. I can’t believe it,”

Brandon Moreno also said Figueiredo always tries to grab attention like Conor McGregor but he really doesn’t care whatever he does. Moreno has his eyes only on the Flyweight title.

He added, “Again, he’s not really smart. He’s trying to put attention on himself and it’s fine. He wants to make some money, he wants to be the next Conor McGregor. But you know, I don’t care. I don’t really care because I just want to get the title, that’s it.” {H/T BJ Penn}

The first match between Moreno and Figueiredo was pure violence, even the UFC president Dana White said that if Zhang Weili vs Joanna Jędrzejczyk wasn’t there this match would have been won the fight of the year award.

Brandon Moreno is looking forward to delivering more violence in this fight and most probably end Figueiredo in the first or second round. In one more interview with MMA Fighting, he says,

“I can be more aggressive because all my game plan in two weeks was like, be careful, take the time to see the counters, and take care of his power, and that’s it. Right now, I feel his power, I know I can support the damage and I can be more aggressive.” {H/T MMA Fighting}
