The world is waiting to witness the greatest trilogy fight of all time, as Conor McGregor vs Dustin Poirier 3 is just a few days away to happen. This fight will take place on T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas with a full capacity crowd and it is getting difficult for the people to hold their nerves now.

As the trilogy is approaching, people are picking their sides and the former UFC fighter, commentator, and analyst, Dan Hardy also picked his side. Hardy correctly predicted that ‘The Diamond’ will be utilizing leg kicks against ‘The Notorious’ at UFC 257.

Now, he claims Conor McGregor is a better martial artist and true craftsman of his art but the question he has in his mind is whether McGregor is still hungry as before. In his latest interview with Submission Radio, Hardy says,

“I do think he’s a better martial artist just generally than Poirier. I think he’s got a better mastery of range and striking, a better understanding of the application of martial arts and how to work somebody over psychologically as well,”

“You’ve got to earn it as well, you can’t just get in there with the skills that you’ve earned in your early career and expect it to carry you all the way, especially when you’ve got a dog in front of you like Poirier who’ll just take you into deep waters and see what you’re made of.” {H/T Sportskeeda}

Dan Hardy believes after two rounds it is going to be a loss for Conor McGregor

Although, Dan Hardy is backing Conor McGregor to win this trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier this time. But he believes if the fight goes past two rounds, it is going to Poirier whose hand is going to be raised.

He added, “I think the longer this fight goes, the better it looks for Dustin. And I think if he’s smart in those first two rounds and just allows McGregor to work and maybe to punch himself out a bit, as soon as he walks out of the corner for the third round,”

“He’s going to feel like this fight is practically in the back because this is where he comes into his own. I think, if we see the third round, it’s Poirier’s fight,”
