Nick Diaz’s name needs no introduction to the fight fans around the world, he is one of the biggest names on the UFC roster. Nick is an elite Jiu-Jitsu practitioner, who is the pride of Cesar Gracie’s Jiu-Jitsu team. He is a former WEC and Strikeforce Welterweight champion and Nick has defeated some of the biggest names in UFC of his time.

Nick Diaz made his UFC debut against Jeremy Jackson on UFC 44 in September 2003. He made an impact on his debut by defeating Jackson via a third-round submission and following this win Nick faced Robbie Lawler in his second UFC fight at UFC 47. Nick stopped Lawler via a second-round KO and rose to the occasion to make a name for him in the promotion.

He defeated Gleison Tibau on UFC 65 and after that Nick left UFC for a while. He won the inaugural Strikeforce Welterweight championship and defended it three times before he returned back to UFC and faced B.J. Penn on UFC 137. Nick was defeated by unanimous decision and moved to face Carlos Condit for the interim UFC Welterweight championship.

Condit defeated him via unanimous decision and after that Nick Diaz faced Georges St Pierre for the UFC Welterweight champion. He lost that fight as well and moved to the Middleweight division to face the UFC legend Anderson Silva, Nick lost this fight too and this proved a disaster for his career as he was tested positive for Marijuana after this fight.

Nick Diaz got banned for five years due to this and now he will be stepping inside the UFC Octagon for the first time after 2015.

Robbie Lawler is also one of those names who is one the biggest stars on the UFC roster. Lawler made his UFC debut on UFC 37 against Aaron Riley he won that fight by unanimous decision. But ‘Ruthless Robbie Lawler’ also made an exit from UFC after facing a loss against Evan Tanner on UFC 50.

Lawler won the Icon Sport Middleweight Championship and Elite XC Middleweight championship before he joined back UFC to face Josh Koscheck on UFC 157. Lawler won three consecutive fights and faced Johny Hendricks at UFC 171 for the vacant UFC Welterweight championship. Hendricks defeated Robbie Lawler via unanimous decision.

Robbie Lawler took his revenge from Hendricks at UFC 181 and won the UFC Welterweight championship. He defended his belt two times before he lost it to Tyron Woodley at UFC 201.
