Shevchenko is one of the most dominating champions on the UFC roster and she will be coming into this fight with a win against Jessica Andrade in her last fight at UFC 261. This is going to be Shevchenko’s sixth title defense with all her previous opponents falling before the wrath of the Bullet.

Shevchenko holds an overall record of 10-2 inside UFC with her both losses coming against the two-division UFC women champion, Amanda Nunes. On the other hand, her opponent Lauren Murphy is getting her first crack at the UFC title.

Murphy is the former Invicta FC Bantamweight champion and she is coming into this fight, riding a winning streak of five fights with her latest win coming against Joanne Calderwood on UFC 263. During her reign, she secured victories over many notable names in the division such as Roxanne Modafferi and Andrea Lee.
