The trilogy bout between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier is rapidly approaching. McGregor will be looking forward to getting the win and putting him one step closer to the lightweight title. The fan favourite Irishman will be hoping that to put on a show in front of the Las Vegas crowd at the T-Mobile Arena, on the 10th of July.

A recent video of Conor McGregor being mobbed by fans has been doing the rounds. The video shows wild fans chanting his name as he makes his way to his car following an end-of-camp team meal. The video was shared by McGregor himself, with his coach John Kavanagh also posting a video of the same on his Twitter handle.

‘Quiet end-of-camp team meal’

Coach Kavanagh tweeted, “Quiet end-of-camp team meal….turns into streets shut down when word got around. Nuts haha.”

In the video, a stunned McGregor exclaims (on seeing the massive crowd gathered to witness him), “Holy shit. Jesus Christ, look at this.”

The security then pave the way so that he could get into his car. McGregor shadow-boxes for the thrilled crowd and then says, “Wow that is incredible. What a place. I’m on the wrong side of the road here, look at this. America. Happy 4th of July! Woo hoo hoo! What a country, the United States of America.”

He also tweeted, “The United States Of America. What a country!”

McGregor is coming off that loss against Poirier at UFC 257 which affected him mentally. However, he has put that behind and is now solely focused on exacting revenge. The winner of the fight will get to fight newly-crowned lightweight champ Charles Oliviera for the LW title.
