Conor McGregor revealed in one of his tweets that he would love to challenge the welterweight champion, Kamaru Usman. Betting odds suggest that the Irishman could have a tough time doing that inside the octagon.

In a recent Twitter Q&A session hosted by UFC superstar Conor McGregor, fans asked him if he would want to become the first-ever UFC fighter to become a three-division champion. The betting site, SportsBetting.ag dropped the odds for this potential fight and welterweight king Kamaru Usman opens as the decisive favorite to win the fight. McGregor is the underdog given his recent form with only one win in the last four years. Conor still has his share of fights in the welterweight division.

Never has Kamaru been a favorite to win a fight by such a wide margin. “The Nigerian Nightmare” opens as a -700 favorite against McGregor. While the Irishman is a +450 underdog. To put it in layman’s terms, if one should bet $700 on Usman, he would win back only $100 if Usman won, while if one should bet $100 on Conor he would win back $450 if the Notorious wins.
