There is no doubt that Conor McGregor is the biggest draw in all combat sports. The fighter has unbelievable pull in terms of audience and is hence targeted by almost everyone in the fight industry. So much that even someone as decorated as Henry Cejudo wants a piece of McGregor inside the octagon to cash out one of the biggest paychecks of his career.
These two have been going back and forth for a long time, but Conor snapped and called Cejudo a nobody. After Cejudo said, “Conor, I know you are scared to fight me but slow down buddy. I need you to get injured during the fight… not before.”
Conor wrote, “Mate, I don’t give two f**k about you. You are a nobody. Who the f**k even are you? You are a little skid mark to me, stop messaging me, thanks.”
“I’ll agree to measure at 5’4″ or under and start the fight on my back”– Henry Cejudo puts up an interesting stipulation for his potential fight against Conor McGregor
Cejudo talked about Conor in his recent video with The Schmo, he made an offer to The Notorious one, as he said, “Hey Conor McGregor let’s make a deal. I’ll fight you at 155 pounds on one condition– You have to stay sober. If you can do that, I’ll agree to measure at 5’4″ or under and start the fight on my back. Also Keith Peterson can’t ref. Fair?”
McGregor is currently recovering from a broken foot injury he sustained in his third fight against Dustin Poirier. He is doing much better now, and he might return around July this year. He’s been calling his shots, and after gaining a considerable amount of weight, he’s looking for a title shot against Kamaru Usman. Many were pissed off at his call-out, but considering his fan appeal he might just get this fight.
