Kevin Holland saves the day yet again as he helped fend off armed robbers as he put one of them to sleep via a rear-naked choke. Kevin Holland was out last night with his two other friends in Houston and discovered an armed individual. According to local reports, the situation took place at RA Sushi in the Highland Park neighborhood of Houston. The gunman entered the restaurant around 11:30 pm and opened fire inside a restaurant with 40-50 people. Holland and his friends acted quickly and took down the gunman and controlled him safely till the arrival of the police.
One of Holland‘s friends, Patrick Robinson, spoke to the media about the incident. “We were eating and the next thing you know, a gunshot just popped off. So everything paused and then everybody started running to get down under a table…We got him down, apprehended him, got the gun away from him and the bag that he had.” Said Robinson while talking to ABC 13.
“I got rattled, I ain’t gonna cap. I got my family with me and that doesn’t sit right with my stomach. I pounded that liquor after all that but I’m good now.” said Kevin Holland as it is nice to hear that the fighter is doing better after putting his life on the line against gun violence.
‘Props to him’ Kevin Holland on the guy who took the shooter down
When Kevin noticed two men fighting for the gun, he wasn’t sure as to who the shooter was. On close inspection, he saw one man trying to deflect the gun by pointing it towards one side. Holland acted with a presence of mind as he knew a little bit about gun safety, saying that even though the man deflected the shooter, he made a small mistake.
Holland says that the gun should be facing upwards or downwards and not one side or the other. When he noticed that the gun was pointed towards his side of the restaurant while the two battled it out, that’s when he knew he had to go save the day as anyone else could’ve been ‘Popped‘. He also added that he saved the day as he loves ‘Batman‘.
