The UFC Flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo successfully defended his title against Brandon Moreno at UFC 256 which turned out to be one of the greatest fights in UFC history.

After the end of five rounds, the fight ended in a draw. Although as soon as the fight ended Dana White made it very clear that the rematch between both of them is inevitable.

With this fight, Figueiredo created history by defending the UFC title at two consecutive pay-per-views. Brandon Moreno entered inside the Octagon as an underdog in this fight but he showed the world that he isn’t less than anyone.

Both of them absolutely tore each other apart for five rounds. In his recent fan’s Q&A session with ESPN, Dana White was asked when UFC is targeting the rematch between Figueiredo and Moreno to which he replies,

In his latest interview with MMA Fighting, Moreno says he is hoping for this rematch to happen in April. Moreno says, “In a perfect world, I prefer April because I need to recover myself very well, it’ll give me time to get to Tijuana to start training slowly, step by step.”
