Jake has been calling out UFC fighters left and right, and now he has his eyes set on another veteran of the sport Jorge “Gamebred” Masvidal. Jake trained with Masvidal to prepare for his fight against Ben Askren, but the duo picked up the heat after Masvidal picked Tyron over Jake for their boxing match.

Now Jake has stated that he would be more than happy to beat Masvidal up. In his recent interview with Ariel Helwani from The MMA Hour, he said, “I mean honestly just from a personal standpoint, I would love for it to be Masvidal. Just cause of the sh*t talk. Just cause of his name. Just cause he’s still in his prime era and there’s a lot of personal beef there. I just took out his boy Tyron.”

Jake is more than interested to take on Masvidal but he thinks the UFC president Dana White would not let his fighter compete outside of the octagon, talking about the possibility of this fight happening, he said, “Hopefully Dana would let him out of his contract but we’re not sure if that can happen. But for me personally, I think that would be the toughest challenge, the toughest guy and the biggest name.”

He continued, “We’ll see. His dad Dana White just has to let him. That’s what it comes down to. Dana wouldn’t let GSP fight in that Triller Fight Club that he was trying to do. Dana blocked him from doing that so Dana’s just blocking everyone, being greedy.”
