Justin Jaynes and Charles Rosa

The UFC Featherweight fighter, Justin Jaynes entered the Octagon at UFC Vegas 30 to face Charles Rosa. Unfortunately, Jaynes will be going home without a paycheck after fighting three rounds with Rosa.

He came up short and loses the fight via a split decision, and before entering this fight he bet his entire purse on himself. After this fight, a lot of people mocked him on social media but he doesn’t expect anyone’s sympathy for him.

In his Instagram post, Justin Jaynes wrote, “No regrets, I said it before the fight and I’ll say it again. I was prepared for all outcomes. If anyone thinks me losing this bet is going to break me they are sadly mistaken.”

Jaynes’s opponent Charles Rosa also showed him respect after the fight and says, “Hats off to Justin, much respect to him, I heard he bet his entire fight purse on himself…” {H/T MMA Fighting}

“Unfortunately for him, the casino made some money tonight, but this is the price you pay doing this, the risk you take. I’m happy I got the win, I’m happy I got my money and it is what it is.”

Jaynes doesn’t make any excuse about his loss or betting the entire purse on himself. After losing his entire purse while responding to one of the fans on Twitter, he wrote,

“It’s what it is, highest highs and the lowest lows, Ain’t no thing but a chicken wing. I think Walmart might be hiring security anyways.”

He also added, “I said it before the fight and I’ll say it again. I was prepared for all outcomes. If anyone thinks me losing this bet is going to break me they are sadly mistaken.”

The toughest part about his loss is that now he lost 4 fights in a row in UFC and his future inside the promotion in uncertain.
