Jones and Holyfield were at the 2022, PFL 5 Pay-per-view event as celebrity guests. The event took place inside the Overtime Elite Arena, Atlanta, Georgia. The event featured interesting featherweight and heavyweight bouts as fighters continue to push their way through in order to get that $1 million championship prize. The main event bout took place between heavyweights, Bruno Cappelozza and Matheus Scheffel. Other than that, former UFC superstar Anthony Pettis fought Stevie Ray.

The event was a massive success and fight fans enjoyed many fights. The promotion invited many celebrities and fighting superstars in order to increase the buzz around the event. One of the most important names was Holyfield. The retired boxer was given the opportunity to be at the centre of the octagon during after a Heavyweight clash between Klidson Abreu vs Renan Ferreira.

During the event Jon Jones and Holyfield ran into each other and spent a few moments talking to each other. As per some pictures, both the superstars are happy meeting each other and also shared some laughs together. The four times World heavyweight boxer took to Instagram to share a picture of him and Jones in the story. In the story, Holyfield mentioned Jones’ instagram handle and revealed it was good to meet the fighter.

Holyfield also posted a few other pictures of him sitting in the stands and enjoying the MMA event. Under those posts, Jones commented and thanked Holyfield for his respect.

It was nice to see two legends of combat sports getting together nicely. Both the superstars are great entertainers and share the same level of dominance inside the ring and cage.
