“Backing The Blue” Michel Pereira was spotted with members of the iconic Chelsea FC and sensational DJ Steve Aoki

Pereira was seen alonside some of the biggest football stars

Michel Pereira was spotted alongside Steve Aoki and other players from the iconic Chelsea FC. Pereira who hails from Brazil is naturally an ardent soccer fan and was seen alongside the footballers during a gig in Nevada, USA.

Pereira who is still shining brightly from his victory against Argentine sensation Santiago Ponzinibbio in a three-round barn burner this May was seen putting his fight of the night bonus to good use as he was spotted alongside these massive stars backstage.

Pereira tweeted out a photo from the outing, with the caption, “Sensational night” posing alongside Chelsea stars, Matteo Kovacic, Marcus Alonso, Timo Werner, Kai Havertz, Ceaser Azpilicueta, Kepa Arrizabalaga, and Emerson Royale. Along with them is international DJ Steve Aoki, known for working alongside artists like Linkin Park and Backstreet Boys.

Michel Pereira wants to fight Jorge Masvidal next

Pereira is eager to face off against Jorge Masvidal

Most recently the Brazilian was seen campaigning to fight the BMF Champion, Jorge Masvidal. The wacky reason why became a source of much ridicule and controversy. Pereira allegedly wanted to fight Masvidal as he accused him of “sliding into his wife’s DM” reportedly sending a prayer hands emoji.

However, when Masvidal responded, the waters got even muddier as the screen shot showed that Jorge was actually replying to a text by Pereira’s wife herself, something that was deleted from her side. Washing his hands clean from allegations of trying to ruin a household, Jorge went back to fighting allegations of assault over Covington.

Though Pereira never followed through with what he wished to do with Masvidal, the Cuban sensation has said he doesn’t mind giving the young prospect who recently burst into the top ranks a chance to square up against him.

Currently ranked number #15, a fight against Geoff Neal #13 or Michael Chiesa #11 makes the most sense for the Brazilian. He has been in Las Vegas, Nevada since early June. Possibly in camp, preparing for an upcoming fight at his gym in Vegas, Overcome Academy.

Pereira joins the long list of UFC stars who are diehard football fans with big names like Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor also accompanying him in that list. Who do you think is the ideal step up in competition for Pereira next!
