Brandon Moreno has made Mexico proud yet again. The flyweight fighter is now a champion again after his win against Kai Kara-France at UFC 277. The Mexican flyweight shows why he is a true superstar of the division. Not only has Moreno won the interim flyweight title but also has set up his unifier bout against the reigning champ in amazing fashion.
Brandon Moreno and Kai Kara-France returned to the octagon to run things back. UFC 277 was held at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas but you would think it was the home of the Mexican fighter given how loud the crowd was cheering for him throughout the fight. Moreno put his rivalry against the New Zealand fighter to bed after a stunning finish in the third round with a TKO.
Kai Kara was looking really good in the first two rounds of the fight but “The Assassin Baby” showed why he’s levels above by bringing a stunning finish out of nowhere. Moreno is now the interim champion and has already called out Deiveson for a fourth title fight. Not very often do we get to see two fighters run it back for the fourth time. Deiveson was invited into the octagon as he was present in the crowd with the actual flyweight belt on his shoulder.
The Brazilian champ did not hesitate to step into the octagon and exchange words with Moreno inside the octagon after his stunning win against Kara-France. What many thought would be ugly did not go exactly that way. Both the flyweight fighters agree that they are the two best in the division and set up their fourth fight with the utmost respect. UFC aces were really impressed with the call-out and also the fight put on by Brandon. It is confirmed that we will see the fourth fight between Moreno and Figueiredo.
