He is absolutely tough as nails. You see that in every one of his fights and he will not get out of there, so I think he takes that.”
Can Korean Zombie beat Alexander Volkanovski?
Korean Zombie has been presented with an opportunity that not many get. Alex Volkanovski was initially supposed to defend his title in a much-anticipated trilogy fight against his fierce rival, Max Holloway. The Australian fighter is on his path to becoming one of the greatest featherweights of all time. Alex decided to defend his title against Chan Sung Jung given he was ranked #4.
In the last three years, The Korean Zombie has lost to only one fighter, Brian Ortega, who is a recent title contender. Since 2019, Zombie has wins over Frankie Edgar, Renato Moicano, and Dan Ige. Meanwhile, Volk is coming off an entertaining title defense fight against Ortega at UFC 266. Alex is still undefeated in the UFC and if Chan Sung Jung manages to get a win at UFC 273, it would turn out to be one of the biggest upsets ever.
