A loss to YouTube boxer Jake Paul is not going to stop former UFC champion, Tyron Woodley, from going big in the year 2022.

Tyron Woodley is a former UFC welterweight champion who just experienced his biggest payday of his fighting career taking on a YouTube boxer. Though Woodley lost to Jake Paul in his first-ever boxing bout, T-Wood says it isn’t bad getting bad to be paid a truckload amount of money.

Woodley is now not under contract with any promotion or organization. “The Chosen One” says he has all the freedom in the world to try out new styles of fighting in his career and 2022 is all about that now. In a recent interview MMA Junkie, Woodley revealed his plans for the next year and it is safe to say the fighter is very ambitious.

Tyron was initially looking for a rematch against Paul but that fight doesn’t seem like it would happen. “Most people that watched the fight felt like I won the fight. I really don’t walk away a loser in the fight. My ceiling doesn’t look any different now,” said Tyron Woodley in his interview with MMA Junkie.

“I’m the only free agent in combat sports. Nobody else can say they’re a free agent. I can fight here, I can fight there. I can fight anywhere. You’re going to see me multiple times, for different promotions-four different styles of fighting,” said Woodley in the interview.

Tyron was recently at the Triller Triad Combat event where MMA fighters took on Boxers with unique fighting rules. T-Wood also might also fight Dan Hardy, former UFC fighter and commentator, in a boxing match very soon.

“I am going to be the first one to do it, and then everybody else is going to follow behind like they always do. One of them is going to be MMA. I plan on fighting in MMA in July in a real special fight to me. It is probably going to be in Las Vegas.”
