The weigh-ins for the stacked UFC 263 event has been going on and has almost reached its conclusion. Middleweight king Israel Adesanya weighed in a bit late and came in at 183.5lbs. This is nothing new for the ‘Last Stylebender’ as he usually turns up underweight for a fight. Izzy seemed a bit sapped and fatigued.

His opponent Marvin Vettori weighed in much earlier and made weight successfully, and then went on an angry ‘Mike Tyson’-esque’ rant about Israel Adesanya. He threatened that he wanted to eat him alive. Commentators and analysts interviewing him were amused at particularly how angry The Italian sounded.

Will fatigue affect Israel Adesanya at UFC 263?

Adesanya has got a day and a half until he steps into the octagon. He was looking visibly drained, and though fighters recover in no time, it might take a toll on their performance during the fight. Since this is nothing new for Adesanya, he might see it off.

He’s got a hungry Marvin Vettori waiting for him. The Italian is determined to exact revenge for his split decision loss at UFC on Fox: Poirier vs Gaethje, the last time they met. Adesanya won that fight via. a narrow split decision. Vettori is coming off a takedown-heavy win over Holland at UFC on ABC 2. He executed a staggering 11 takedowns throughout the fight, which is a middleweight record for the most takedowns in UFC history.

Israel Adesanya, on the other hand, is coming off his first loss in his MMA career. The Nigerian decided to test murky waters when he moved to the light-heavyweight division to challenge LHW champ Jan Blachowicz. However, Blachowicz took him to the ground in the later rounds, and earned a unanimous decision victory.
