In the main card of UFC Vegas 33, a middleweight clash between Sam Alvey and Roman Kopylov was scheduled. The event is going to take place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The Apex has been a regular spot for the promotion to host Fight Nights given how the pandemic situation has played out. UFC has confirmed this news regarding the cancelation.

Sam Alvey is an MMA veteran and has fought for a long time. He has an incredible record of 33-15-1 with one ‘No Contest’ bout in his career. He is coming from a disappointing loss against Julian Marquez at UFC Fight Night: Vettori vs. Holland. The fighter has not won a fight since the June of 2018. Meanwhile, his opponent Roman is said to be a middleweight prospect from Russia who is 30 years old.
