The number 11th ranked UFC Middleweight fighter Sean Strickland defeated the number 8th ranked Middleweight fighter, Uriah Hall in the main event of UFC Vegas 33.

On Saturday night, Strickland put on a striking clinic and won the fight by unanimous decision of the judges. With this win against Uriah Hall extended his win streak to five fights and in the post-fight press conference talking about his win, Sean Strickland says,

“I think I might have broken his orbital, Just cause in the second round, he was blinking and rubbing his eyes and as someone who’s broken their orbital, I’m like, ‘Oh yeah, he probably broke his orbital.’”

“It was honestly a testament to see somebody who was probably fighting with one eye finish a fight like that. I’m a man in the UFC, that’s everyone’s problem.”

Talking about the violence he displayed in the fight, Strickland revealed his dream scenario in future fights. He says, “If you like to f*cking hurt people, you’re in the right sport,”

“I would love nothing more than to kill somebody in the ring. Nothing more. It would make me super happy. I would own that sh*t, too.”

He added, “I don’t know if it would make me liable, I might have to say I’m sorry if the cops came, but I would own that sh*t. Own it. Be a psychopath, it’s f*cking fun!” {H/T MMA Fighting}

Strickland has revealed many times in the past that he isn’t chasing the titles, he is happy fighting until he is getting paid. He says, “I’m probably the last person they want as the champion,”

“‘So Sean what do you think about the UFC?’ I mean it’s cool, they pay me well, it’s cool. I’m the last one they probably want to be the champion.”

Talking about his future opponents, Sean Strickland added, “There’s always going to be another killer, I’m going to fight somebody in a few more months, I might win, I might get knocked out. I just like to fight. I like to make money.”

“If I go somewhere with it, great, if not. What did Derrick Lewis say? What was his last quote about if you let me run the division, you guys should all retire? I love Derrick Lewis. He’s the man. I’m just happy to be here.”

“You should never enjoy fame because it’s fake. It’s f*cking fake. There was a point where Uriah Hall was in every interview, every media member was shouting ‘Uriah Hall!’ And now it’s like he’s on the twilight of his career, he’s getting older. It’s like it’s just bullsh*t. I like you guys all, but it’s all bullsh*t. You guys know this.” {H/T MMA Fighting}
