This week’s UFC event has kicked off with an amazing start. The headlining fight of UFC Vegas 41 is a light heavyweight bout between Paulo Costa vs Marvin Vettori. The fight takes place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

UFC Vegas 41 has a packed preliminary card. The card has 8 fights in its prelims and 6 fights in its main card. The results for the UFC Vegas 41 preliminary fights are published below.

Round 1: The UFC Vegas 41 prelims begin. Martinez opened the account with low kicks. Lazishvili put a lot of pressure on Martinez and was relentless to get the takedown. Martinez pulled free finally but got caught with a left hand and dropped. He is soon to pop back up and respond with good punches and low kicks. Round ends with Lazishvili taking the edge.

Round 2: Both the fighters working the jabs. Martinez responded better to Lazishvili’s pressure in the second round. Great action from both the fighters. Martinez throws a left and had managed to cause some damage under Lazizhvili’s eyes. Martinez with a lot of great punches in the second round as it ends.

Round 3: Both the fighters once again go back and forth. Lazishvili scores a punch and Martinez responds with three. A failed takedown attempt by Zviad. Martinez looked really good. Great jabs from Martinez and Zviad still looking for that finish. Great standup skills from Jonathan. Fight ends.

Livia Renata Souza vs Randa Markos

Round 1: Both the fighters throw hands before Markos is driven to the fence. Markos managed to turn the pressure around. Souza grabs Markos’ head throws a shot and down her opponent goes. Markos tries to roll away but Souza has her back. Souza is in for the submission but does not get it. Huge blows for Markos on the ground from Souza. Round ends.

Round 2: Markos trying to turn it up in the second round. Throws a couple of jabs and goes for the pressure but Souza slams her opponent on the canvas. Markos throws elbows at Souza’s body. Markos takes control from the top. Great comeback from Randa as she dominates round 2.

Round 3: Both the fighters trade jabs and low kicks. Great scramble from both the fighters to take control. Markos finally gets control. Markos works with short punches followed by elbows.

Results: Randa Markos def. Livinha Souza via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28)

Jeff Molina vs Daniel Da Silva

Round 1: Da Silva opens as the aggressor in the fight. Great strikes from the Brazilian. da Silva works with his low kicks and body kicks. Looked for the takedown attempt but Molina was able to stand upright. A lot of grappling in round one. Molina clearly the better striker.

Round 2: Both the fighters come swinging. Molina drops a huge right hand to the chin of Da Silva that puts him out flat. Molina continues punching and a lot of damage is being done. The fight is over.

Results: Jeff Molina def. Daniel da Silva via TKO (punches) – Round 2, 0:46

Khama Worthy vs Jai Herbert

Round 1: Worthy draws first blood with a right hand to the body. Herbert responds with a low kick. Worthy put the pressure and presses, Herbert, with an uppercut, and bam his opponent is hurt real bad. A barrage of punches comes Worthy’s way and he is left defenseless. Worthy on the floor. Herbert continues punching and the fight is over just like that.

Jamie Pickett vs Laureano Staropoli

Round 1: Both the fighters open the fight looking to strike only before Staropoli looks for the takedown. No significant action from both the fighters for a long time and the referee parts them away to restart. Uppercut for Pickett at the end of the round. Starpoli responds with a high kick which is blocked.

Round 2: Staropoli once again pushes his opponent to the cage in a clinch. Pickett this time drags Staropoli and puts him on the floor. A knee from Pickett to his opponent’s body. Both the fighters looking to finish the fight. Another clinch for Staropoli followed by lifting Pickett and dropping him.

Round 3: Once again the two fighters take the fight to the ground. But only for some time as they get back up on their feet. A flurry of punches from Pickett. Punches traded between the two fighters. With only 30 seconds to go both the fighters throw hands wildly.

Round 1: Ricci starts off with some great punches. Oliveira landed a crisp jab as her opponent tried to put some pressure. Ricci looks to be the aggressor and walks through a clean right hand. Ricci with a combo only for Oliveira to respond with a right hand. The round ends.

Round 2: An eye poke at the beginning of the second round but nothing too serious. Ricci goes for the clinch but Oliveira escapes. Ricci with a takedown and takes the mount. Great elbows from Ricci. Finally, Oliveira slips out and stands up. Huge blows from the back in the final minute and round ends.

Round 3: Oliveira with a right hand. Oliveira with some great standup skills. Not too long before Ricci goes for the takedown again. Two minutes left and Ricci returns to the center. Another takedown from Tabatha. Huge scoring moments. Huge punches thrown from the back by Ricci on Oliviera.

Mason Jones vs David Onama

Round 1: Onama draws first with a clean jab at Jones. Jones resorts to his jab. Jones gets a good trip and scores a takedown followed by short elbows. Onama finally puts a lot of work to get away from the canvas. Jones with a spectacular spinning kick. Both the fighters swinging but barely connecting. A takedown for Jones before the bell goes off.

Round 2: Both the fighters waste no time to score. Jones and Onama landing great strikes. Jones manages to bring the fight to the canvas. Punches from the back. Jones with a knee while Onama’s hands are down. The ref calls time and restarts. Great strikes from Onama and finds a clean right hand. Jones with a left hand under one minute and drags his opponent to the canvas.

Round 3: Both the fighters meet in the center and begin trading blows. Both the fighters are hurting each other badly. Jones wants a level change so goes for the takedown but Onama gets the mount. Jones manages to wrap himself and slam Onama on the ground. Jones dominating the fight on the floor. Onama manages to get up on his feet in the last few seconds but Jones brings him down once again.

Results: Mason Jones def. David Onama via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

Park Jun-Yong vs Gregory Rodrigues

Round 1: Park starts the fight in a conservative approach. Lands a low kick. Rodrigues with a right hand and both the fighters are in exchange now. Both the fighters scramble on the ground while Rodrigues takes the back. Rodrigues took great control of the fight on the ground. No severe damage for both fighters.

Round 2: Park comes out very aggressive throwing hands. Big shots between both the fighters. Rodrigues with a takedown and takes the back. Park is quick to get back on his feet as they trade blows. Rodrigues lands a right hand and Park is hurt. The fighter is not steady and a huge uppercut from Gregory and the fight is over. Exciting finish.

Results: Gregory Rodrigues def. Junyong Park via knockout (punches) – Round 2, 3:13
