Round 1: Rothwell acts as the aggressor and goes forward to make the first move. The veteran managed to get the first jab but his opponent punished him with some stunning leg kicks. It takes only seconds for de Lima to unload his right hand and hurt Rothwell.

Marcos noticed Rothwell was hurt and pounds on the veteran. No signs of stoppage from the referee Herb Dean and oh boy Rothwell got punished. de Lima continues to throw punches and Rothwell went for the takedown and Dean finally confirmed that the fight is over.

What a finish by Marcos Rogerio de Lima!!! Risky refereeing from Herb Dean though.
