UFC Flyweight fighter Cody Durden might have dug his own grave on his debut fight at UFC Vegas 43.

At the preliminary card of UFC Vegas 43. A flyweight matchup between two debutants was set. An interesting matchup between Cody Durden and Qileng Aori came to a very off-putting end after Durden made a racist comment. Cody defeated Chinese flyweight Qileng via unanimous decision in the second fight of the night.

The fight took place at the UFC Apex and the debut flyweight stunned everyone including the broadcast team when he made a very racist, controversial comment about his opponent in the post-fight interview. Following an amazing win at his fight, Cody went on to sign off with, “I am gonna send him back to China where he came from,” said the debutant which caught everyone off guard.

After his racist comment, Cody received hate all over Twitter. The flyweight couldn’t have wished for a worse debut. UFC fighter Casey Oneill was not having one bit of the debutant’s interview. “F*CK CODY DURDEN! Racism is never cool POS,” she wrote on Twitter.

Jeff Molina also reacted by writing, “Dudes a real POS, I’ll gladly punch him in the face!!”

UFC welterweight fighter Jared Gooden was disappointed with the comment the newbie made and wrote, “Making white people look dumb again.”

Reporter Aaron Bronsteter wrote, “And Cody loses any goodwill that he may have earned after saying he wanted to ‘send his opponent back to China’. Not a good look at all.”

At the post-fight press conference, UFC commentator Daniel Cormier was shocked by the comment and had no idea how to react to the fighter’s racism.
