Dana White was asked about the possibility of cross-promotional super fights with Bellator. Dana White seemed shocked. He claimed that there weren’t any athletes on this roster worth such consideration.

But what if the fight actually takes place? Who would fight whom? Let’s loom at some of the possible match-ups.

UFC vs Bellator

Kamaru Usman vs. Douglas Lima

Kumaru Usman has rose a very tough fighter to beat lately. On the other hand, Douglas Lima considers himself to be the best fighter in the history of Bellator, and he would like to prove himself as one of the pound-for-pound greats.

Lima does have the chance to extend his legacy when he will face ex-UFC fighter Gegard Moisasi for Bellator’s vacant middleweight title. However, he would prefer champion vs. champion matchup with Usman. That would also be the biggest of his career.

But Kumaru Usman is a dominant grappler and can pose problems to Lima. However, Lima has finished his opponents both on feet as well as ground.

Jorge Masvidal vs. Paul Daley 2

Jorge Masvidal is no doubt, the most exciting fighter in the UFC and a super fight between ‘Gamebred’ and Paul Daley 2 would be the most intriguing one.

Though Paul has lost to Masvidal once on a short notice for the welterweight title but the way he has lead to that position, makes the fight must watch. He is a former Bellator fighter from the promotion’s first season in 2009, so he surely has to be involved in this hypothetical scenario.

He has a brutal hard hitting fighter and has made his career by standing toe-to-toe with his opponents and unleashing hell with his fists throughout a 61-fight professional career that has seen him maintain an incredible 79 percent finish rate – all by knockout.

Though Daley 2 is 37, five of his past six wins have came from knockout. He would love to fight Masvidal again and send a message to Dana White. White had threw him out of the UFC  for punching Josh Koscheck after the final buzzer back at UFC 113.

Amanda Nunes vs. Cris Cyborg

The two-division UFC champion Amanda Nunes is one of the too women fighters in UFC while Cris Cyborg is the current featherweight champion in Bellator. The two have met earlier. The atmosphere was absolutely electric from start to finish for this 51 seconds of pure chaos. Toe-to-toe swinging from two of the fiercest women on the planet, and Nunes landed flush, halting an incredible 13-year unbeaten run from Cyborg.

A rematch between the two will be nonetheless more exciting. Cyborg would try to make some adjustments and take revenge while Nunes can again do the same.

Both the fighters are at the top in the their respective promotions and a fight, if happens, will be remembered for decades.

Note: This is just a hypothetical assumption and there is no guarantee that these fights will take place in real life.
