Tai Tuivasa vs Walt Harris is the latest addition to UFC 267 headlined by a light-heavyweight title bout between Jan Blachowicz and Glover Teixeira. Number 12 ranked heavyweight Walt Harris who fought earlier in June this year, faces the surging Tai Tuivasa who competed at UFC 264, a couple of weeks ago.
The news was first reported by MMA Junkie, who had learned the same from two people (who had wanted their names to be anonymous). The news is expected to be confirmed soon by the UFC. UFC 267 also features some cracking contests like Aljamain Sterling vs Petr Yan, Li Jingliang vs Khamzat Chimaev and many others.
Tai Tuivasa is on a three-fight win streak, while Walt Harris is on a three-fight skid
Walt Harris is currently having his back against the wall. He is coming off a three-fight losing streak. His last win came against Aleksei Oleinik in July 2019, since then he has gone on to lose all his next three fights via. TKO, against Alistair Overeem, Alexander Volkov and Marcin Tybura.
Harris will be looking forward to getting back to winning ways against the surging Tuivasa. Earlier this year in March, Harris revealed that his now-deceased step-daughter appeared in a dream, which has once again spurred him on to fight.
Tai Tuivasa, on the other hand, is coming off a devastating TKO win over Greg Hardy at UFC 264. The Australian is on a three-fight win streak. However, he is yet to break into the top 15 of the heavyweight rankings. The ‘Shooey‘ practitioner will be looking forward to stepping up to the plate and delivering the goods come UFC 267.
