Earlier yesterday, Izzy stepped on the scales and successfully made weight for his title fight. Can Israel Adesanya defeat the Drake curse?

Drake might be one of the biggest stars in the world but MMA fans are always wary of him whenever the rapper is associated with their favorite fighter. The rapper is infamously known for being bad luck for fighters because of his history in fight bets. Drizzy has previously bet on Jorge Masvidal, Conor McGregor, Justin Gaethje, and other huge stars which has all coincidentally led to defeats for the respective fighters.

Izzy however was not worried one bit about the curse and was in awe that the global superstar would call him personally to wish him good luck ahead of the fight. The rapper also invited the middleweight champ over to Toronto which is the hometown of the Canadian rapper. Izzy dropped a vlog of him video calling the rapper on his YouTube channel and admitted that he had chills down his spine when Drizzy called him ahead of UFC 276.

Adesanya, also cracked a joke about Drake’s new album “Honestly, Nevermind” as the two stars shared a laugh. Watch the entire video call between Izzy and Drizzy below:
