In a recent interview with the Schmo, Romero claimed that Adesanya has lost just one fight in his career and that it was against him. Shocking as it may sound, Romero cheekily said with the smirk that the Nigerian hasn’t lost any other fight (even against Jan Blachowicz).

Romero was quoted as saying, “Izzy has only lost one fight – with me. He then aimed to become a two-division champion but was stopped by the light-heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz at UFC 259.
