US Open 2020: Bopanna & Shapovalov defeats Rubin & Escobedo

The Indo-Canadian duo of Rohan Bopanna and Denis Shapovalov are into the second round of men’s doubles at the US Open 2020 with a 6-2 6-4, win over Ernesto Escobedo and Noah Rubin.

In the second round, Bopanna and Shapovalov are all set to play sixth seed Andreas Mies and Kevin Krawietz in the next round.

After the exit of Sumit Nagal from the men’s singles event, loss to World No 3 Dominic Thiem. Bopanna is the only Indian player remaining in this year’s US Open.
