Talking about the performance in the first round, Bradon Nakashima displayed some solid tennis to dispatch a player ranked nearly 100 places above him. The 19-year old American did not have much difficulty in moving to the next round as he outclassed Paolo Lorenzi in straight sets 6-3, 6-2, 7-6.

On the other hand, Alexander Zverev had his task cut out against former two-time Major finalist Kevin Anderson in the Round of 128. The 23-year old German displayed all his strength to defeat Anderson 7-6, 5-7, 6-3, 7-5 in an energy-sapping contest. It was a much-needed boost for the World No.7 as Zverev is trying to get his mojo back.
