APAC Last Chance Qualifier

The winner of this qualifier will get a direct slot in the year-end Valorant major, Valorant Champions. This tournament will feature teams who just came short in the Circuit Points of their respective regions. The winner of VCC, the best team from South Asia will join teams from SEA, Japan, and Korea.

APAC Last Chance Qualifiers Day 1 Results

On Day 1 of APAC Last Chance Qualifier 2 Games were played.

Game 1(Fennel vs Boom Esports)

Map 1(Ascent): This game started with Boom winning the pistol and the anti-eco round but Fennel came back really hard and ended the half with a 7-5 score in their favor. Boom Esports looked really dominant in the second half and finished the map with a 13-10 scoreline.

Map 2(Icebox): Fennel was totally dominating the map and finished the half with a 9-3 scoreline. 9-3, the curse played its role here and Boom managed to get this game in the Overtime. Boom Esports overwhelmed Fennel in the overtime and took the map with a 15-13 scoreline.

Map 3(Split): Boom Esports won the first 2 maps so map 3 was not played.

Game 2(Global Esports vs Damwon Gaming)

Map 1(Haven): This was Global Esports’ very first international encounter and they show what they are capable of. The first half ended with an equal 6-6 half. In the second half, GE took the map with a 13-8 scoreline.

Map 2(Ascent): These two teams looked pretty equal in the first half and the half ended with a 7-5 scoreline in DWG’s favor. In the second half, GE had no answer to DWG and Damwon with the map with a 13-7 scoreline.

Map 3(Split): Global Esports totally dominated this map and finished this map with a 9-3 score. GE wrapped up the map with a 13-5 scoreline.
