VCT is Riot’s year-long global tournament. There are 3 main tiers of this tournament Challengers, Masters, and Champions. Stage 3 of the Challengers NA is just around the corner. This tournament will lead to September’s international Stage 3 Masters tournament held in Berlin, Germany. In contrast to Masters Reykjavík, Berlin will include 16 teams from North America, EMEA, Brazil, Korea, Japan, Southeast Asia, and Latin America.

Game 1(Gambit vs G2 Esports)
Map 1(Breeze): In the first half of the map Gambit took a slight edge over G2 with a 7-5 half. Gambit managed to close out the map with a 13-10 scoreline.
Map 2(Icebox): This map was one of a kind. G2 had no replies to nAts flanks anti-flanks. Gambit won the map flawlessly, 1st time a team managed to win a map flawlessly on an international stage. Gambit humiliated G2 with a 13-0 scoreline.
Map 3(Ascent): Gambit won the first two maps so the third map was not played.
Game 2(100 Thieves vs Envy)
Map 1(Haven): 100T took the first 3 rounds of the half but after that Envy took all remaining 9 rounds. In the second half, Envy closed out the map with a 13-5 scoreline.
Map 2(Ascent): Envy started this map strong as well. Envy took the half with a 7-5 scoreline. In the second half, Envy managed to win 5 rounds back to back. Envy wrapped up the map with a 13-8 scoreline.
Map 3(Icebox): Envy won the first two maps so the third map was not played.
