Jaffer is one of the greatest and most experienced players in the Indian domestic circuit as he has amassed over 19,000 runs at an average in excess of 50. The opener is till date the highest run-getter in the Ranji Trophy He couldn’t replicate his performances with the same aplomb with the Indian national side however, as he averaged only 34 over the 31 Test matches that he played which is also not a bad return by any means.

Wasim Jaffer’s reply to fan who trolled him

Wasim Jaffer had taken to Twitter following the Indian team’s historic win at the Gabba against Australia in the fourth and decisive Test match to state that the Australians have no excuse to justify their loss. He had said, “So what’s gonna be the excuse this time? Ponting, Warne and McGrath weren’t playing?

A fan had then replied to him saying, “How many test you played for India? have you ever think (sic)” To the same, Jaffer came up with a classy response saying, “I might have played just 31 tests my friend, but when I see the Indian team play I feel like I’m playing with them. And I’m sure a billion+ people feel the same.” The response has since then gone viral with fans criticizing the fan who trolled Jaffer and appreciating the former Indian opening batsman for his cool and composed response.
