Canadian tennis player Eugenie Bouchard loves the American sitcom ‘The Big Bang Theory’. The 26-year-old is not only a huge fan of the show, but has also personally met some of the actors from it. In 2015, Bouchard flaunted her Big Bang theory knowledge in a video posted by WTA.
The former world no.6 appeared for a Q/A session with the WTA Live Fan Access at the Indian Wells Open 2015, where she answered questions about her favorite series the Big Bang Theory. Bouchard nearly aced all the questions, and stated that answering those questions correctly gave her a lot of confidence. The first question that Bouchard was asked was, “Name 3 characters from the Big Bang theory”, and she instantly answered, “This is the easiest question ever Sheldon, Leonard and Penny.” She was then asked, “What is Sheldon’s catchphrase?” And Bouchard answered, “Bazinga”.
Next up, “What year did the Big Bang Theory start?” And the Canadian said, “Well there are eight season this year so I’m gonna go with like 2007.” Bouchard stumbled in the next question, which was, “What Canadian band sing the Big Bang Theory theme song?” And she guessed, “Like there’s a Canadian band called Headley and I’ll just guess that.” Eugenie Bouchard then goes on to say, “Oh my god I’m actually impressed with myself you guys just gave me like more self-confidence.”

Eugenie Bouchard is also familiar with several Big Bang Theory stars, including the lead character Jim Parsons, who plays the character of Sheldon Cooper. Both Parsons and Bouchard are close friends. And the former was seen sitting at Eugenie Bouchard’s box at the Wimbledon 2014.
At the very same tournament, the Canadian was on a roll as she reached the final before bowing down to Petra Kvitova.
