Gareth Bale has found his goal-scoring touch for his old club and has delivered a hat-trick against Sheffield United in the Premier League. This is his first hat-trick for the club since 2012.

Tottenham have taken a 3-0 lead against the bottom placed side in the Premier League. Gareth Bale scored his first goal in the first half and added 2 more in the second phase.

The second Tottenham goal came from a lethal counter attack just after the hour mark. Son-Heung Min played the ball in for Gareth Bale who steadied himself and shot into the top right corner to double Spurs’ lead.

Gareth Bale put the cherry on top for Tottenham a few minutes later in the 69th minute. Serge Aurier was the provider for Bale just like his first goal. The right-back fed the ball forward for the Welshman who fired-in his powerful shot into the bottom-right corner for Spurs’ and his 3rd goal of the match.

Son grabbed a late goal for himself in the final moments of the match to extend Tottenham’s lead to 4. The South-Korean also had the assist for Gareth Bale’s second goal.

The 4-0 victory lifted Tottenham to 5th position in the league and they are now 4 points behind Chelsea for the final Champions League qualification spot.
