The squid game fever also entered the Indian cricket team as a handful of the Indian players took up the challenge as a part of a fun activity.

The official Instagram handle of the International Cricket Council (ICC) shared a fun video where the Indian players took a much-needed break from their practice and training sessions. In the clip, limited-overs vice-captain Rohit Sharma along with other players including Suryakumar Yadav, KL Rahul, Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah, and Varun Chakravarthy can be seen taking the squid game challenge.

The players were required to draw a tiny shape in the candy with the help of a needle without breaking or damaging it. All the players diligently worked towards making the perfect shape but it was only Rohit and Shami who were patient enough to do it without breaking the candy.

ICC shared the video with a fun caption that read, “India put to the test in nerve-wracking game. Indian Cricket Team stars are put to the test with a game made famous by one of the world’s most talked-about shows.”
