We are stronger when we stand united: Yuvraj Singh as he donated Rs 50 lakh to PM-CARES fund


Cricketer Yuvraj Singh has pledged to donate Rs 50 lakh to PM-CARES fund to help the nation to fight against corona virus. He also urged to people to follow the appeal of Prime Minister Narendra Modi by lightning diyas, candles and lamps at 9pm for 9 minutes.

Yuvraj said “We are stronger when we stand united. I will be lighting a candle tonight at 9pm for 9 minutes. Are you with me? On this great day of solidarity, I pledge Rs 50 lakh to PM-CARES fund. Please do your bit too!

Yuvraj is a great player the Indian cricket team would ever have. He has began his career at the age of 13 with playing in Punjab under 16’s. He has been the part of 2000 under 19 cricket world cup. And he scored 149 against Haryana in Ranji Trophy 1999-2000. His performance of lifetime came in 2011 ODI world cup, where he played a crucial role in India’s WC campaign.

After the creation of PM-CARES fund many athletes have come forward to contribute and help the country. In video message Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appealed to turn off lights of your house and light candles, diyas, lamps and mobile flashlight at 9pm for 9 minutes.

According to Ministry of health and family welfare cases haven’t increased to 3,374 and death rose to 77 in India while 267 have been cured
