6 Most successful men at the Wimbledon

Boris Becker's shot to fame came at Wimbledon when he won the title in 1985 at the age of 17. He remains the youngest male Wimbledon champion to date. He made a successful title defense in 1986 before adding a third title in 1989.

John McEnroe won three titles at the All-England Club. His maiden title came in 1981. He won a couple of more in the next 3 years making a successful title defense in 1984 having won in 1983 as well. 

Bjorn Borg was the first one in the Open Era to win a hattrick of titles. The Swede however went on to win five on the trot as he went undefeated from 1976 to 1980. Borg's tally remained unmatched till Sampras' arrival at the All-England Club. 

Novak Djokovic has followed the footsteps of idol Sampras and has 7 titles to his name. The Serb won his first title in 2011 before winning back-to-back titles in 2014 and 2015. From 2018, he remains undefeated at the major having won 4 on the trot (no event in 2020 due to Pandemic).

Pete Sampras was the first to 7 titles at Wimbledon. The American great won all of his 7 titles in 8 years. His wins came in 1993, 1994, 1995, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000. In 1996, he had lost in quarter-finals, his only defeat at the venue in 8 years during his reign of supremacy.

20-time major winner Roger Federer's majority Grand Slams came at Wimbledon. The Swiss maestro won a total of 8 titles at the All-England Club. Federer won 5 titles on the trot from 2004 to 2007 while picking 3 more in 2009, 2012 and 2017.
