5 Players who refused to obey their manager’s order

David Beckham vs Sir Alex Fergusen- Things turned out ugly for the two Manchester United legends as a clash broke down between the manager and the player in the locker room back in 2003. Sir Alex stormed into the dressing room filled with rage and kicked a boot lying on the floor which hit Beckham’s face and gave him a mark. The player was sold to Real Madrid a few months later.

Carlos Tevez vs Roberto Mancini- The Argentine superstar disrespected Roberto Mancini by refusing to come on the pitch as a substitute in a UCL tie against Bayern Munich. They lost the match and a lot of arguments were made between the two on the sideline. He refused to play for the club for several months after this incident and asked the board to leave the following transfer window.

Kepa Arrizabalaga vs Maurizio Sarri- Another example of a player not doing exactly what he is told to, Kepa refused to come off the pitch in 2019 in the Carabao Cup finals before a decisive penalty shootout. Maurizio Sarri was absolutely furious at this act and had a lot of things to say to Kepa after that.

Romario vs Johan Cruyff- Not exactly disrespectful, Romario was a party-mad person and asked the FC Barcelona coach if he could go to a carnival in the middle of the season. Cruyff said it would be only possible if he scores two goals in the next match. Romario scored 2 goals in the first half of the game and asked the Dutch manager to sub him off as he had a flight to catch.

Cristiano Ronaldo vs Erik Ten Hag- Cristiano Ronaldo was furious at Erik Ten Hag as the manager didn’t play him against Tottenham Hotspurs in the Premier League this week. CR7 walked off the tunnel and stormed out of Old Trafford before the final whistle as revolt. Following this stunt, CR7 isn't training with the first team and won’t be a part of the squad against Chelsea today.
